Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
-
WEBSITE USE
You must use this website lawfully and must not:
• Introduce viruses, malware or harmful code
• Interfere with the website’s operation or security
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to an account or system
• Scrape, copy or reproduce website content for an unlawful or unauthorised commercial purpose
• Submit false, misleading, fraudulent or unlawful information
• Infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the website, our customers, our business or another person.
-
ACCOUNTS
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You must provide accurate and current information and promptly notify us if you believe an account has been compromised.
We may verify identity, payment or order information where reasonably required for security or fraud prevention.
-
PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, photographs, compatibility information, availability and pricing are accurate.
Occasional errors or manufacturer changes may occur. We may correct website information when an error is identified, subject to existing orders and applicable law.
Product colours and appearance may vary between screens. Product photographs may include optional accessories or installation examples unless stated as included.
The contents of a kit or package will be determined by the product description and order confirmation at the time of purchase.
-
TECHNICAL ADVICE AND COMPATIBILITY
CCTV, networking and surveillance products can have specific compatibility, power, storage, licensing and installation requirements.
General website information is not a substitute for an assessment of your particular site or system.
Before purchasing, you should consider:
• Camera and recorder compatibility
• Resolution and channel limits
• PoE standards and available power budget
• Network capacity and internet availability
• Storage requirements and expected retention periods
• Environmental and weather exposure
• Mounting and cabling requirements
• Mobile application, cloud or subscription requirements
• Installation and licensing requirements
If you require compatibility advice, please provide complete and accurate information about your existing equipment, intended use and installation environment.
Nothing in this section limits your rights where you make a particular purpose known to us and reasonably rely on our skill or judgement.
-
CCTV AND SECURITY-SYSTEM LIMITATIONS
Cameras, recorders, alarms and related products can assist with surveillance, deterrence and incident investigation. They cannot guarantee that an event will be prevented, detected, recorded or successfully investigated.
System performance can be affected by:
• Installation and camera positioning
• Lighting, weather and environmental conditions
• Network, internet and mobile-service availability
• Power failure or surge damage
• Storage capacity and recording configuration
• Password, firmware and cybersecurity practices
• Third-party applications, cloud platforms or subscription services
• Maintenance and equipment condition
Storage and recording-duration calculations are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Actual retention depends on resolution, frame rate, compression, motion, scene complexity, recording schedules and available storage.
Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for a security incident merely because a product was installed or used. This does not limit rights arising from a product defect, misleading representation, breach by us or another matter for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
-
INSTALLATION AND LAWFUL USE
You are responsible for ensuring products are installed and used lawfully and appropriately.
Electrical, network, security or other installation work must be completed by a suitably qualified or licensed person where required.
Laws relating to surveillance, audio recording, privacy, workplace monitoring, signage and neighbouring properties may differ according to location and circumstances. You are responsible for obtaining any required consent, licence or professional advice.
Products must not be used to unlawfully monitor, harass, intimidate or invade another person’s privacy.
-
PRICING AND PAYMENT
Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices displayed to Australian retail customers are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Delivery charges, optional services and other applicable costs will be displayed at checkout or agreed before an order is confirmed.
Payment must be made using an accepted payment method.
We may correct an obvious pricing or product-information error. If an error affects an order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate resolution, which may include confirming the correct price or cancelling and refunding the affected item.
-
ORDERS
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we have received the order. It does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.
We may reasonably refuse, limit or cancel an order because of:
• A stock discrepancy
• An obvious pricing or product-information error
• Failed or reversed payment
• Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity
• Delivery restrictions
• Unavailable freight arrangements
• A legal or regulatory requirement
• Suspected unauthorised resale
If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the affected amount using the original payment method unless another method is agreed.
-
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
Delivery and collection are governed by our Shipping Policy:
https://cctvsecuritycameraswarehouse.com.au/policies/shipping-policy
Delivery estimates are not guarantees, but we will provide a remedy where required if an order cannot be supplied within an agreed or reasonable time.
Risk in a product passes when it is delivered to the nominated address, left according to an authorised delivery instruction or collected from our premises, subject to applicable law.
Ownership does not pass until payment has been received in full.
-
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND WARRANTIES
Returns, repairs, replacements and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law:
https://cctvsecuritycameraswarehouse.com.au/policies/refund-policy
Manufacturer warranties operate in addition to consumer guarantees and do not replace them.
-
THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Some products depend on services supplied by manufacturers or other third parties, including:
• Mobile applications
• Cloud storage
• Push notifications
• Artificial-intelligence functions
• Remote access
• Firmware updates
• Licensing or subscription services
Third-party services may be governed by separate terms, privacy policies, fees and availability requirements.
We do not control third-party platforms. Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for a third party changing, suspending or discontinuing a service outside our reasonable control.
This does not limit your rights where the availability of a feature formed part of the product description, an express representation or an applicable consumer guarantee.
-
WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
We may modify, suspend or maintain the website where reasonably necessary. This will not affect rights relating to an accepted order or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
-
THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our website may contain links to third-party websites.
We do not control those websites and do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, security or practices. You should review the third party’s terms and privacy policy before using its services or completing a transaction.
-

If you submit a review, image, comment or other content, you confirm that:
• You have the right to submit it
• It is accurate and not misleading
• It does not infringe another person’s rights
• It does not contain unlawful, abusive or malicious material
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display the submission for purposes connected with our business and marketing.
We may moderate or remove content where we reasonably believe it is unlawful, misleading, offensive, irrelevant or in breach of these Terms.
-
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Website content, branding, graphics, text, product guides and original materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal or legitimate business purchasing purposes. You must not reproduce or commercially exploit protected content without permission, except where allowed by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies liability, consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by:
• Improper installation, configuration, maintenance or use
• Use contrary to product instructions
• Unauthorised modification or repair
• Customer-supplied equipment or incompatible third-party products
• Power, internet, mobile-network or third-party-platform failures outside our reasonable control
• Unlawful use of surveillance or recording equipment
• Failure to maintain backups, passwords, firmware or appropriate cybersecurity controls
This limitation does not apply to the extent that the loss was caused by our negligence, breach, misleading conduct or a product failing to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
-
INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against a third-party claim arising directly from:
• Your unlawful use of the website or a product
• Your material breach of these Terms
• Your infringement of another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights
This section does not require you to indemnify us for loss caused by our negligence, unlawful conduct or breach of a non-excludable obligation.
-
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on this page.
Changes will apply from the date of publication and will not retrospectively remove rights relating to an existing order.
-
SEVERABILITY
If a provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent required. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
-
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising rights available under an applicable consumer-protection law.
