The Dahua NVR5432-16P-AI/ANZ is a thirty-two-channel WizSense recorder for commercial CCTV systems that need direct PoE connections, substantial storage capacity and intelligent event searching. Sixteen built-in PoE ports simplify the first stage of installation, while four HDD bays and network camera support allow the system to expand.

Compatibility and storage

Dahua IP cameras provide the broadest smart-feature compatibility. Compatible ONVIF cameras may record, but analytics, audio, smart search and remote configuration vary by model. Cameras beyond the sixteen direct PoE ports require suitable network PoE switches. No hard drives are included unless expressly stated.

Add surveillance-rated HDDs, compatible cameras, Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, any required PoE switches and a monitor or computer for setup. Calculate storage using camera count, resolution, frame rate and desired retention period.
