Compatibility and installation

Use with a compatible Dahua IP NVR or PoE switch. One Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable can carry data and power when PoE is used. Third-party ONVIF recorders may provide basic video, but Dahua analytics and event handling depend on the recorder model and firmware.
