The Dahua NVR5208-8P-AI/ANZ-S2 is an advanced eight-channel WizSense recorder for homes and businesses that need high-resolution recording, built-in camera power and fast AI-assisted searching. Eight integrated PoE ports let compatible IP cameras connect directly to the recorder, while two HDD bays provide flexible surveillance storage.

Compatibility and storage

This recorder is designed for Dahua IP cameras and also supports compatible ONVIF cameras. Analytics, audio, smart search and configuration features vary by camera model, so compatibility should be confirmed before mixing brands or generations. No hard drive is included unless expressly stated.

What you will need

Add surveillance-rated hard drive storage, compatible IP cameras, Cat5e or Cat6 network cables and a monitor or computer for local setup. A UPS is recommended where continuous recording matters.
